We put together a little video montage of Kyla's journey and first 4 months. It's about 12 minutes long, so sit back relax, maybe get some tissues, turn up your sound and enjoy!

Rice is Nice..... On My Face
We had our first attempt at solids today with a little rice cereal. As you can see, there was more on Kyla's face than in her belly. She seemed to get the hang of the spoon in her mouth pretty quickly, but was more interested in chewing on it than eating any cereal.
4 Month Appointment

Hard to believe that Kyla will be 4 months old next week! She is such a beautiful girl and is really thriving. She had her 4 month appointment this past Tuesday and she is a healthy, happy little girl. She is hitting all her milestones (laughing, babbling, rolling over, etc.) and is even ahead of the curve for rolling back to front (see told you she was a clever girl!). Here are her new measurements:
Weight: 15lbs 4oz
Height: 24-1/4"
Head Circumference: 41cm
We also discussed starting solids, so we are going to give rice cereal a try in a few days. Stay tuned.....
Roll Over, Roll Over....

Little stinker decided she can roll over both ways now! We found her like this during her nap. Apparently flipping from back to stomach is very advanced for her age - but we knew she was brilliant from day 1!
