Now that's a TGIF grin if I ever saw one

That's My Girl

Tuesday, March 25, 2008

Kyla is a girl after my own heart. She loves to play in my closet and always goes after the shiny, sparkly shoes.  She also loves to pull the clothes off the hangers or play in the fabric that hangs down from a dress or something.  She's a real fashionista, my girl!

HAPPY EASTER!

Sunday, March 23, 2008

Kyla had a lovely first Easter that included her very own personalized Easter basket (thank you Gibbons family!).  We filled it with a card, books, bunny ears, plastic eggs and a teething ring - but of course she wanted the plastic grass inside.  We put her bunny ears on right away and I just couldn't stop kissing her she looked so cute!

Tried to have an Easter egg hunt, but finding eggs and putting them in a basket wasn't her cup of tea (maybe next year).  Although she thought I did a great job finding them!  I did learn something new today - the dye on the Easter eggs comes off when your child put it in her mouth - ewwww!

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!

Sunday, March 16, 2008

Enjoy your St. Patty's Day with a little Scottish jig from Miss Kyla - future dancer extraordinaire! Like a good Scottish lass, she loves the pipes and drums, not too sure about the leprechaun though!

Love The Bling

Can you see the bracelets in her hands?  Poor thing, inherited her mother's love of bling.  I had to pry these away from her when it was time to leave :(

Working On The Template

Tuesday, March 11, 2008

Only took me a year to figure out there are other blogger templates out there.  I'm still experimenting, but let me know how you like this one.

Daddy's Girl

Monday, March 3, 2008

I love this picture of Kyla and John with the morning light shining so perfectly.  Kyla loves her daddy and gets excited when he cuddles her in the morning before he leaves for work and again when he gets home.

Steps To Bath Fun

Saturday, March 1, 2008

First you get ALL the toys in the bath with you
Then you clang the cups together - the louder the better
Then you get out the squirt toys
When all else fails, you gnaw on the shampoo bottle

Our Bath-time Routine

First we get undressed in our room and play with some toys
Then we liked to be chased out the bedroom door to the bathroom
We got distracted by the towel when we got there
But now we're ready to get in the tub
All soaped up and ready to play with the bath toys
