Post-Surgery Follow-Up

Kyla had her post-surgery follow-up this afternoon and she got a clean bill of health. She is 10lbs 11oz (in full clothes and a wet diaper) which means she gained 2-1/2 lbs in 2 weeks! No doubt because she's been eating 4-6oz per feeding!! Her incisions are also healing nicely (2 small ones on her belly and one in her belly-button) and are so tiny you can barely see them. The last picture shows the scars - they are the two small red dots to the left and right about 1 inch above her belly button. You can barely tell the difference between the scars and the slight rash on her belly/chest

Dr Josephs also told us that by now her body has reabsorbed the pyloric muscle overgrowth, so she has a regular muscle now between her stomach and intestine. This overgrowth won't occur again, so her digestive tract will be normal from now on. Great News!
